I am currently a sixth and seventh grade reading and math teacher at Corning Free Academy Middle School in Corning, NY. Corning Free Academy is an officially designated International Baccalaureate World School featuring the MYP program. I have taught here for the past four years, for one year as a 15:1 Special Education teacher and now in my current position.

I am NYS certified in the following three areas:

• Elementary Education (Grades 1-6)
• Students with Disabilities (Grades 1-6)
• Literacy (Birth - Grade 12)

My husband and I will be relocating to San Diego, CA this summer. I am currently in the process of transferring all three of my certifications to California credentials as defined by the CA State Dept. of Education and am seeking employment in an Elementary or Middle School setting for the 2009- 2010 school year. Although I am saddened to leave the Corning- Painted Post School District where I am currently employed, I am hoping that a new and exciting opportunity will present itself in your area. I look forward to sharing my enthusiasm, creativity, and diverse experiences with your staff and students.
