| International Baccalaureate Organization The main website for the International Baccalaureate Organization. Contains information on the three IB Programs. Also includes services, addresses, and photos of some of the 1,270 IB World Schools located in 110 countries around the globe. International Baccalaureate North America Regional office for North America and the Caribbean. Oversees the applications of potential IB schools, manages introductory and professional training workshops, and arranges annual regional conferences for administrators in IB schools. Counsels schools in the region regarding the administration of the program, and is in contact with universities and the general public to enhance recognition of the IB. IBNA Sub-Regional Associations Like California, other large states, provinces and groups of states have formed associations of IB Schools to support the activities and goals of their IB teachers and students. California Legislative Information Bills passed by the California Legislature which provide support to schools offering the IB program may be viewed on the link above. (In particular bills AB 2363, 1998, and AB 842, 2001). The website offers access to the Legislature, information about bills, legislative publications, California law, and other links. |
