Synopsis

The CAWS Spring Seminar on February 27, 2012 will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Irvine California approximately 1 mile from the John Wayne Airport.

Ellen Alquist has been an IB/PYP consultant for years and is a true international citizen. She is a member of the original team that created the Primary Years Programme of the International Baccalaureate. One of the original trainers for the programme and one of the original trainer of trainers, she now consults with schools in Europe, North America, and the Middle East that are interested in becoming PYP schools, as well as with schools that are already following the PYP curriculum.

Ellen works as an educational consultant throughout the United States and around the world. As an in-service trainer and familiar with all three IB Programmes, she’ll fire up your classroom teachers and administrators with her passion for best practices in education. She provides specific classroom-tested ideas for reaching students with every learning style. A firm believer in differentiated instruction, Ellen will inspire the educators at your school to reach every student. She is also happy to assist school systems in developing and assessing curriculums.

Ellen has partnered with Heart for Education to assist with further serving the schools in California. Heart for Education is an inquiry and differentiation based consulting agency run by credentialed educators which organizes and provides after school and summer academic and enrichment programs, tutoring, and essay support as well as staff development.
