PYP Level 1
Introduction to the PYP
The overall purpose of Level 1 workshops in PYP is to provide accurate and detailed information to interested schools considering embarking on the PYP application, authorization process, programme requirements and obligations, as well as guidance about the trial implementation of the PYP.
Level 1 covers Part B of the application process
MYP Level 1
The overall goals of an MYP Level 1 workshop are to provide a general introduction to the programme; to increase the ease of application and authorization; to enable schools and teachers to be successful in early years of IB implementation.
Participants will create initial drafts of their own applications and course designs.
MYP Level 2
The overall goals of an MYP Level 2 workshop are to improve the quality of the subject area content and pedagogy; to form a community of schools offering IB Programmes; to enhance the internationalism of the programme. Participants will understand more fully IB MYP assessment, share best practices, teaching and learning methodologies and resources. They have completed Level 1 training.
