Synopsis

Continuing at the Sheraton Suites at Symphony Hall in San Diego on February 23rd, our organization is extremely proud to be able to showcase as our keynote speaker Kari Grady Grossman, author of the book Bones That Float, telling her story of how adopting one child led to adopting a whole country, Cambodia.. Kari and her husband created a school in Cambodia in 2001 and The Grady Grossman School now educates 500 students through sixth grade. Proceeds from her book support the school. The title of her keynote address is Sustaining Education through Economic Development. Her writing has appeared on Discovery Channel Online, including coverage of a Mount Everest expedition and the Alaskan Iditerod. Kari will entertain questions following her presentation, then visit each breakout session in the afternoon. We encourage everyone to read this inspirational book in a community effort to "make a difference".
